Hon. MIZENGO PINDA TO GRACE ALLY REMTULLAH’S ZAIN FASHION FOR EDUCATION GALA
The prime Minister Hon. Mizengo Pinda will be the guest of honour at the Ally Remtullah’s Zain Fashion For Education benefit scheduled to take place on Saturday the 5th of June 2010 at the Double Tree Hilton Hotel in Dar es Salaam.
The night will include guest appearances from the renowned South African fashion designer David Tlale and the Mozambican Talbo Bacar who will showcase alongside Ally Remtullah in what Ally described as the fashion event of the decade at a Press Conference yesterday.
Ally Remtullah, the fashion designer behind the project said “ We have received great support from different stakeholders, I would like to particularly commend the Secondary schools in Dar es Salaam that took it upon themselves to play a role in this worthy cause. Mzizima Secondary School, St. Laurent, DIS and IST through their involvement has demonstrated to us that Education in Tanzania is the concern of all of us” Ally continued saying that ‘’the corporate world has also been very supportive, I now urge everybody else to show their concern and come join us on the gala night where we anticipate to raise 100,000,000 TSHS in support of the secondary schools in Kisarawe district.”
The Gala will include cocktails, a fashion show by 3 of Africa’s bests and tailor made entertainment just for the night for 100,000 Tshs only.
Ally, in association with ZAIN, teamed up with the Kisarawe Education Development Fund to carry out a three months campaign to raise funds for the Kisarawe Secondary Schools.
The campaign consisted of media interaction, school concerts and sms campaign where one can contribute from as little as 300 Tshs by sending the word elimu to 15626.
The campaign is brought to you by Zain, Double Tree Hilton Hotel, Frontline Management, Stanbic Bank, Ashton Media, Robiallac, Pilipili Entertainment, Clouds Fm, DTP, Hugo Domingo,Ivy Photography MeTL and Century Cinemax..
